(I also noticed that part 1 from back in 2015 is missing?! Thanks a lot, tumblr, here it is on the wordpress backup – if that ever happens again, let me know)
“Target Commercial” Foghorn Leghorn berates Joey Lawerence for not getting school supplies and Hostess snack cakes.
“Mead Keepin’ Tabs Commercial” That girl with the big glasses freaks me out so much! Little dork! In the future she will be one of those women that keeps like three planners and she puts stickers in them, and draws in them. She thinks she’s hot stuff on Instagram and Facebook.
“Alex Trebek 1988 Jeopardy Commercial” –– this is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen, and I am living for it. You so know that Alex was chewing up the scenery that day.
I already miss Alex so much.
“1984 Dove Bar Soap TV Commercial” – “My husband notices every part of a woman’s appearance … mine or anyone else’s” … what. He’s sneaking peeks!
“DISTURBING CHI-CHIS COMMERCIAL (1983)” – this commercial is right up Cartman’s alley.
“TNT Roach and Any Killer Spray Commercial (1980)” – okay, this is a jam. I hope she got work on broadway.
“Brodia.com” (1999) (@6:18) – I feel for this girl, we’ve all been there, shaving our legs with a cheapo razor. ow I can feel the stings.
“Healthy Choice Bread” (1995) @ 19:20 – the lady likes soft bread.
Fox Kids Duck Bumpers (early 1990s) (2) – I found these during a Riffbreak episode, and about died laughing. That little duck just ticked my giggle dick. Marc from riffcoms said, “I like how he had two catchphrases, ‘HMM!’, and ‘where’s that trap door?’.”
The little duck comes from clips of Dynamo Duck, originally from France, and voiced by Dan Castellaneta for American audiences. He’s adorable. I would die for that duck.
“1983 Federal Express Commercial” – Dang, I don’t know what this guy’s problem is. I like working on Saturdays, nobody is there to bug you.
JC Penney Auto Insurance – Kelsey Grammer (1984) – storytime. A couple of years ago I bought a box of tapes from the 1984 Summer Olympics. This commercial showed up and i was like
“That’s Kelsey Grammer omgwtfbbq”
and then the tape cut off!
McDonald’s 1980 McChicken Commercial – oh no, its the McChicken Gang!
Parkay Commercial with Al Franken (1999) – I get that this was before he ran for Senate, and he was a comedian at this point, but this commercial is just weird. Why a Parkay commercial, Al?
Velveeta 1988 Commercial – 1. Why would you put a croissant in the microwave 2.Why would you put CHEESE on a croissant 3. This commercial went into Good Mythical Morning territory fast when the kid put the popcicle snowpop in the microwave.
“Ryan Bollman in: Ames Department Store Commercial” (1997) – I’m surprised Ames had the money to hire a Mona Lisa impersonator. Also, why have a sale on a Friday? Everybody is at work.
